Ahmad is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of Liberty University’s School of Divinity, where he earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling. He is currently in the process of completion of Doctor of Ministry in Church Based Theological Education at Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership. He is married to his college sweetheart, Tagel Muqtasid and has one daughter, Abigail and one son, James.
His wife, Tagel Muqtasid, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Health Sciences. She is the Program Director for Apartment Life. She has served alongside Ahmad throughout their ministry. Her passions are teaching God’s Word, event planning, community partnerships, and health awareness.
Family, preaching, pastoring and teaching, leadership and operations are Ahmad's life passions. He leads the Equipping the Saints Conference annually. This conference, which serves over 700 believers including pastors, elders, and deacons, across the state of Arkansas, is one of the premier conferences in the southern region for training saints to do the work of ministry. He has shared at numerous conferences, workshops, leadership events and worship services throughout the state of Arkansas.
Ahmad leads with a focus of establishing others. He desires to see believers grow in Christ through an effective learning process involving Bible passages, reading, community dialogue, personal reflection and projects. Ahmad is committed to serving the body of Christ.
