Patrick Bowen was born in Louisiana in 1979. He started playing music at the age of 12 when he traded some baseball cards for his first keyboard. Patrick moved to Arkansas at age 14 and started leading worship that same year in his youth group. Patrick married his sweetheart, Jessica, in May of 2001. They had both done missions work before they were married. Jess spent time in Central America and Nepal, and Patrick went to Mexico and China. As a married couple they have traveled to Ireland, Thailand, the Philippines, and spent a year in Quebec, Canada preaching the gospel and helping establish local churches. Patrick and Jessica adopted their sons, Michael and Alex in June of 2015 which has been the greatest adventure of their lives.
